So I’m looking at buying a house in Orlando(Windermere/winter garden area) with the intent to house hack it.

The heat went off in the winter while the house was unoccupied, we had a week of record lows and the pipes froze and burst in the house everywhere.

It's kinda like living in Cali, but with ****** winters. ;-)

I'll admit,  I did go and look at a sort of luxury house a few weeks ago.  11 acres on a mount, with a winter view of the Delaware river.

That said, they did a nice thing for you, so I would remember that come the holidays (or at another time) when you can send them a nice card, or gift card thanking them for being a great tenant "in general."

In addition to what previous advisors have offered, keep in mind that we could likely be seeing "Coronavirus Round 2" in the Fall, Winter, and maybe into next year. 

The staircase is similar to the one in the picture however is much older and hasn't received TLC since I don't know when.It's Maine - snowy winters and humid summers are a thing.
