like should i get a consultation from a real estate attorney or someone who specializes in real estate tax laws etc?

You see there is a multitude of types of contractors—therefore, when you are soliciting contractors, it’s important you understand these different types and what they specialize in so you can get started in the right direction.For example, when you are looking for a doctor, you would narrow that search down to a specialty, like a cardiologist, general practitioner, or orthopedist.The same holds true when you are looking for a contractor.

Find an attorney that specialized in real estate.

When picking a brokerage for where to hang my license, I am finding that most brokerages (rightfully so) specialize in one or the other. 

On occasion "investor specials" do go on the MLS.

My clients are hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies, and special situations funds.

Do any of you have a fantastic accountant who does high level strategizing and specializes in RE, ie invests as well as accounts..  

Some are fantastic and pay extra special attention :)
