We are rehabbing those houses that need it with skilled family members as well as a local GC for larger projects. 

It would allow me to leverage my previous professional skills the most.  

You get so much knowledge, tools, and skills for evaluating property that even a well informed, successful investor isn't going to have. 

I decided to start my own firm in an effort to provide clients with big firm legal skills but boutique firm attention and personalized service.I won't launch into my firm's "pitch," but I'm looking to network with real estate professionals of all types, including real estate investors, individual property owners, landlords, small businesses, and mortgage lenders.

My observation is that many ofthose people already have business skills and focus and motivation (and sometimes money!)

Currently doing a dual-track of SuccessPath and RichDad Coaching to further my education and fine tune my bird dog marketing skills for some wholesaling initially and eventual flipping.

A good team consists of people who have the skills that you don't.

Flipping if you're new depends on your level of handiness and skills.

It's also a great way to pick up home repair skills and to keep motivated.

I also joined Habitat for Humanity to learn and improve my carpentry skills.
