There is a another case in DC where a woman wanted to set up a business (where patrons smoked) in her apartment and there were ventilation complaints. 

The price @Holly Birchall quotes sounds reasonable with pricing higher due to sloped site and adding architect and city fees in her example.Happy to refer you to full service architect if needed.

They are inherently higher risk than a single family.I also live in a condo, and Ill personally likely never go back to living in a single family as I much prefer condo living.

But the take home.. there will always be obstacles.

I wouldn’t ordinarily do this but She’s pretty destitute so I had the ( stupid) idea I’d give her my Christmas ham that I receive from my w2 job each year since I only like spiral honey Hams. when I went to my triplex  to my dismay I saw where she had slithered  into the basement and confiscated all three  snow shovels and was keeping them to herself in her unit but when questioned she was a adamit they were all hers that she bought -all three lol I just shook my head ,laughed to myself how I got robbed by a little old lady ,and remembered why I don’t give out gifts !!

So I know there are many Dave Ramsey fans in here, and I am currently using the debt snowball to attack my debt and since August I have been able to take out 17/33k debt.
