The other reason I am selling is primarily because I am shifting towards a multi-unit strategy (higher cash flow).  

In the early 2010’s I was doing MTR and worked well but now shifted to STR. 

So it is possible that it may be even gain in foreign currency but loss in USD due to shifts in exchange rates...

When I let someone stay via text message, all that stuff is useless and I end up wasting a bunch of time re-inventing the catered experience that I've built through platforms like AirBnB/VRBO.I think it is a worthy cause to move some of your bookings to your own website, but only after you've built the business systems to handle the shift.

. - Going forward, I recommend taking as little time between assignments as possible, and also try and stay with 1-2 agencies if you can (obviously don't if other agencies have way better jobs and work better for you)- I would consider trying to get a PRN/Per Diem job where they will allow you to be gone for extended periods of time, that way you can show that you have steady employment where you can go back at anytime and pick up shifts.
