Oklahoma City Newbie

Hello, my story re-starts after hiking the Appalachian trail...

Coming home to Texas in daze after hiking 500 miles of the AT. My wife and I decided to move to Oklahoma City for low cost of living and job market(2017). Her goals shifted to getting a CPA. I wrestled into a warehouse job complete with golden chains. Shortly after buying our first house; I discovered BP Money (HEY! Scott Trench & Mindy Jensen your my heroes!!) My savvy wife read and re-read all of MMM..... We are now house hacking, working, and have saved 80K of investable cash. I am ready to move on our first deal. According to all the cool kids it's time to start connecting with real estate agents, lining up local contractors, doing the numbers, and searching sheriff sales...

Moving on to the next step, I am NOT looking for a punching bag to throw my newbie REI questions at. The question I am asking myself more often is this:

How can I become a useful team member to a REI firm in Oklahoma City?

@Ryan Allgood I'd be clear about your goals and concerns. It's easy to help someone who knows what they want and is honest about what scares them. It's tougher when there's a lot of guessing and homework to do!
