Many current reports about crime and danger in Newburgh are thinly veiled racial slurs, and the entire history of Urban Renewal (when the main section of downtown Newburgh was raised to the ground in the 60s) was designed to 'reinvigorate' the areas of town where people of color lived.

What I mean is when the MARKET CAP rises, say because of higher interest rates or economic or other factors.So a building making $100K/yr in a 5% cap market is worth $2M but if there's a Great Recession 2.0, and market caps rose to 10%, that same property is only worth $1M

Many Investors who don't really understand the relationship between Rising Interest Rates, Inflation and Inflation Adjustable Assets would really have predicted incorrectly that property values DECREASE with rising Interest rates.My property ROSE in value from 2013 by more than 50% as the Interest rates rose.The reality is that Real Estate is a Inflation Protected and Adjusted Asset class, if you buy the RIGHT real estate.I am sure you experienced the same thing.
