A lot depends on your personal investment objectives, stage of life and what and when (if) you will need the money you are investing.  

When dealing with title companies or cloing attorneys, your trust document must comply with state requirements for organization and for funding.

If you failto appear it will be assumed you do not object tothe relief requested.

I take a more organic approach myself and take all of those factors into consideration.

The tenants wanted to be paid for it.If your tenants are moving out, you might need to paint the cabinets anyway, and your current tenants have told you they won't object to the fuss of having them painted while they live there.If your tenants are undecided, new paint might make them stay a bit longer.It sounds to me like they are thinking about buying (do they have enough income?).

I like the way it looks, but it requires a minimum moisture content in the air, which I don't have out here in the desert, so I've never installed it.I can't think of any reason a buyer would object to it, other than the obvious one that they have their heart set on red cherry floors (which is a problem with any and every flooring you use)I don't think bambeoo is any cheaper than other wood flooring, so you chose it because you like the way it looks.

Check to with your local home builders organization as they will do reviews of new homes.

And just as important, I keep that checklist on file with a specific, objective reason why I didn't rent to them.
