Hi All, I am a Canadian - recently I have been doing a fair bit of research on investing in an American real-estate syndicate through a LLC.It seems like a good place to put some capital for a passive return, however, the tax implications on investing cross-border are very vague and at times, confusing - many articles I read on the tax laws state that there may be a “double-taxation” situation for Canadians on any income produced through an American LLC.

With the $360Billion market cap that it just crossed today and the BILLIONS that Square, Paypal, Grayscale, are buying it up by, let alone wall street legends such as Paul Jones and Stanley Druckenmiller, I would say there's not a good chance we will ever see it go below $10k again. 

We definitely aren’t millionaires yet, fingers crossed, but we really like the area so hopefully we can buy another relatively soon.

It took 1 day and I found one in Redfin 🤭 cosmetic job 1.2m with high finishes ARV goes to 1.8m - 2m.I got the agent doing a double agency so she can both commission and work for me- I am now aiming for 1.1m and the temptation of doing a double closing and making a 50k profit crosses my mind.

Do research to find where are people going, not just today but for coming years, where is the appreciation happening, where is supply/ demand cycles favorable, where do people have the ability to pay sustainably the market rates and cross reference all this by acquisition costs that leave a profitable margin on the table. 

and also cross reference with a good realtor that can give you values and "future values" for any scenario.
