Post-Closing: opened up storage units or rent to tenants, improved condition post-closing.

In my case, I have residential rentals in one LLC, commercial properties in another, self storage in a third, and my real estate company operates in a fourth.

We tentatively plan to use it for storage for extra income.

We brought our team in to redo the deck and large back storage shed.

My question is, I'm a partner in Boat/Rv and self storage.

Am I imagining or are there much more self-storage for sale advertisements then may be 6 months ago? 

So, for a farm I'd expect lots of land and a small portion of the land has improvements, e.g. house, barns, stables, storage, etc...
