The attorney will need to read the agreement between the investors.Even if the agreement permits this partner to place new liens on the property, which it likely doesn’t with out collective permission, the other 5 investors have a legitimate civil suit.

Don't forget any permit fees and taxes you are not allowed to pass on to renters.

@Karen MargraveHi Karen,In a single family home, a permit isn’t required when tiling inside in FL.I definitely utilise smart phones and cameras.I was discussing with my assistant about using security cameras with the two way speaking function all throughout job sites, allowing me to monitor work and speak through the camera.

When I go to refinance will they check for the permits and not give value to my remodels if I didn’t pull a permit?

Had set backs from the City on get permits so I lost 6 months and the market changed.

@Angel Rosado We will have to get permits and what not with the town we live in, and then it will have to be reassessed for tax reasons when the studio is done.
