We are looking at purchasing a tax lien property at Sheriff sale as our first property since it is in the same neighborhood we live in and looks to be in good shape.I purchased a title search on the property, which came up with no other outstanding liens, however the copy of the deed in the title report has the name of the son of the defendant on it.

I took it last fall The National portion was pretty straightforward however the Maryland portions are very heavy on strangely worded Ethics questions Russell Brazil's advice to pay for and do the PSI practice tests is outstanding advice as thepractice tests really helped meBest of luck

I started two years ago buying tax liens because I read, Rich dad poor dad, like everybody else and eventually I acquired one of the properties at auctiontax lien for $250additionally paid $3500 to settle all outstanding liens and to pay any fees so now I have a 7500 square-foot corner lot 6miles from the beach.The lot has an $8500 impact fee credit because the previous house on it was demolished I am in the process currently of filing the TDA for five of the adjacent lots to create a 45,000 square-foot swath all dedicated to a Coliving Model, 6 miles to the ocean Now I’m starting to collect bids from contractors to build a 3/3 bed/bath 1340 square-foot dog trot style house for our first shared space I’ll let you know how the bids come in and just for reference I’m trying to do all of this on the East Coast of Florida

I also prefer to use a new note siting the old obligation being modified which takes care of ommitted issues, but you can go either way, changing terms paragraph by paragraph as needed along with rates and remaining balances agreed to be outstanding.

There is a lot of outstanding debt that would tag along with this property which has me worried.I have heard that it is possible to let the bank win the auction (assuming no one else out-bids them) and then personally work with the bank on a deal after the sheriff sale is over.
