In our town we have furnished units and we purchase furniture scratch and dent from retail store, Craigslist, Yard sales, discount houses, estate sales.

Airbnb or maybe add some yurts or outdoor cottages in back and rent out.

We took the OLD fireplace from the original dining room and REMIXED it into an AWESOME outdoor living area!

There is a lot of furniture assembly required unless you opt to buy assembled.

But it also takes a lot more work to be thrifty than just placing a giant retail order and assembling some furniture.

I am looking for tips and places to obtain bathroom and furniture fixtures because there's no bathroom in the basement now, just another bedroom with a closet and open storage space.
