Converting my basement...

Good afternoon everyone. I am new to RE Investing and thought instead of buying a rental, it would be more cost effective to house hack my basement. I have had several quotes for renovations and ready to pull the trigger as soon as the electrician comes to evaluate my home's electrical system. I am looking for tips and places to obtain bathroom and furniture fixtures because there's no bathroom in the basement now, just another bedroom with a closet and open storage space. Any tips on where to buy laminate flooring, quality bathroom fixtures and cabinets for the kitchenette on the cheap? Your key assistance is greatly appreciated.
