I got my RE license for one main reason:  To avoid having to deal with agents as much. 

I'm not sure how it would be in Florida, but the main goal they teach you is how to pass the test. 

One question that I have as I find myself listening to a great 5 year old podcast for education purposes is "have things changed significantly over the last 5 years" to make this research obsolete?  

-Coworker who went by the other day noticed the main toilet is leaking at the base-One tenant just emailed me saying the dishwasher won't drain and smells like deathThere have been previous problems such as the shower clogging (which I cleared) and the washer drain line backing up.

Some even have rules that they do not want you investing yourself as the main focus only selling with clients so you have to check in advance.With the larger firms generally a new agent is put on a team.So if commission total was 100,000 to listing brokerage then about 50% or 50k goes to the brokerage.

Never refi'ed it even tho its at 6.5%, mainly bc he only has 9 years to pay off and didnt want to "start over." 

I like the idea of maintaining a copy of the lease online for reference purposes.

I made a few connections and I am interested to hear from the community.I know the main goal is to network and learn but If you have attended a REI before what are some specific goals you try to achieve when attending a REI? 

Always keep in mind the true purpose of screening is to find reasons to reject applicants not reasons to accept them.
