As far as I know the same LLC would have to purchase the new property to avoid capital gains tax. 

It is definitely not a passive income stream or even close to passive. 

So, I decided to focus more on passive investing.

I would like to gain more understanding in this area.

I’m interested in generating passive income through rental properties but also interested in flipping houses from an investment position (I’m not handy at all) - perhaps down the road.
