We are also working with a local acquaintance who is very active/familiar with the unique market of rural "country" rentals & is helping us with the necessary contract docs., tenant screening, etc.1.)

I am a recent college grad (accounting) but over the last few months I became really interested in real estate investing and I am deciding to change my career path.

Not everyone lives in flyover country and not everyone does this full time.  

As of right now I am still trying to find my path, looking into a buy and hold as well as doing research on wholesaling.

Same thing some expats do when when they have been out of the country for many many years.Why, you might ask?

It's not SEO-specific, but that is of course one of the paths.

Are they consistent in what they teach and do they teach what is usual. customary and accepted or are they off the path with some great new way of doing things?

Cause when things start getting stupid in those markets, the rest of the country isn't too far behind. 

It seems that California is the hardest place in the country to evict tenants and its a squatters paradise, imo, from the numerous related BP posts.Kudos,Mary
