Zoning doesn't care about rental ordinances so you will have to talk to someone in building or in a smaller town maybe the city administrator who is familiar with city code.If Mpls - you can live in one unit and rent the other two.

When looking for a GC look for reviews, ask if they use a project management software like co-construct which keeps clients up to date on projects, ask for previous works completed and references, ask to see current projects.

Was advised by attorneys that they normally sue the LLC and owners by default anyway, the owner for negligence, not for instances of co- mingling funds etc.

If you haven't already rented it out, probably double check if there's an HOA that there are no ordinances outlining renting is not an issue for this neighborhood as well.
