Everybody here seems to hate appraisers, but most of the time they are right about the value of a house, the problem is that sellers don't want to sell a house for what it's true value is and many buyers are willing to pay more than what a house's true value is because they are impatient, or make an emotional decision, or have a realtor who is a good salesperson etc. 

How would that affect you and your family financially and emotionally?

I can recognize in myself that their are some nerves and apprehension coming into play, and I guess I figure the best way to get over the mental/emotional hurdles is to educate and prepare.

And William James wrote of his own emotional & mental break down, that as an young man, he was able to emerge from, "few scarcely can know of the pit of insecurity which lies just beneath the surface of life."

It’s hard since you’re not only dealing with a questionable PM, but an emotional response from family members.

You’re in a pickle and I feel there are high emotions involved in both sides.

I also believe you need to master your emotions and latch on to the opportunities life gives you.
