You could use all those different areas of expertise to offer different viewpoints to different people, and generate more interest.As for the reasons, all of the above, but mainly blogging in my area of expertise and those touching upon it, mostly allows me to constantly learn, be on top of my market, and of course gain new contacts (occasionally clients, but I treat it more like brand building than actual sales efforts).

I keep thinking that somewhere down the road I'm going to purchase a small house where I can store tools and materials in the garage, as well as take a shower and stay overnight occasionally.
