@Douglas Costello you should be able to get public record info for the property but you'll just have to know where to look and dig a little online.Try masslandrecords.com, select Bristol county (little out of my home-base here but I *believe* that's Taunton...).Each county has a different sub-site for indexing and searching records so you'll just have to familiarize yourself a bit there with their interface.You should be able to search by property address or owner name and find records associated with the property..mortgages/deeds, etc.

If they're appraisals by appraisers for the purpose of determining market value, then I would dig deeper as those are typically based on comps, and if you can't find comps then where are they getting them from?
