If the property is older but has been fully repiped, rewired, had all the windows replaced, and just got new roofs, you may have fewer problems to deal with than a newer property that hasn't been well cared for.4. 

After the tenants moved out, we noticed pretty extensive mold on both sides of the sliding glass door--wall and baseboard as well as the blinds and spots on the glass and frame.

The inspector is going there BEFORE the repairs are made to show them what needs to be done, so the inspector is not looking at any repairs at this point.Also, I think the only thing they may have needed a permit for is window replacement.
