(Salespersons, such as recruiters, can be either)Companies violating the tax code invent categories like "1099 employee" and "W-2 contractor" to scam the IRS, and contractors/employees are none the wiser (typically they are also screwed by this, not just the IRS).

This is most commonly a sign of a scam.

Craigslist is a cesspool of scams and I  haven't posted a listing there for over six years.Two weeks without a single inquiry tells me you're either not marketing in the right areas, your marketing is terrible, or your priced too high.Why don't you post a link to your ad and we can look to see if there's something wrong with it. 

However, I wasnt quick enough for a deal I've just encountered, so I wont have the docs they want in time to use the LLC. 

When that happens the people not on the up and up can spot the tough nuts to crack a mile away and generally do not want to engage them as they know they cannot run their agendas.In this business you will encounter a lot of hard knocks, attempted manipulations, and constant rejections.

I only encountered one jerk in about 100 people I hosted.

Anyone encounter anything similar?
