They do have a yearly membership but I think I'm going to try and attend one meeting (I believe they have a door charge for non-members) and see what they are all about.

The two buildings will share a seven-story parking garage.

Start networking with other investors and see how you can assist them and learn the ropes so that when it's time to jump in you will be ready.With me personally owning apartments, I would recommend owning as many doors as possible because the economies of scale plays to your advantage.

I don't know anyone locally, but I have had good luck using the "next door" app.

Easiest is to house hack either multi door or single door using FHA low down, move every 2 yrs and repeat. 

Two identical properties next door (don't know condition or finishings) are assessed at 235k and 270k.

Focus on quality not quantity - buying 50 Class A/B+ doors is better than 100 Class C/D doors.
