I approached Century 21 brokerage in Madison, WI and they did not like the idea of me only committing to doing a couple deals a year.

Invest in T-Bills for the time being and grow it to a little more.

They have to see that you are serious and have the long term commitment.

For not commitment they can help you assess whether or not this is a reality.

@Demjan Van Der Kach That's exactly why I ended up with one of AlphaFlow's funds -- I realized that sufficient diversification would have required more time (and capital) than I was able to commit to something I'm still relatively new to.

It can be stressful on a marriage if you're not on the same page.Tip...I got a flexible part time job as a substitute teacher...So, if I wasn't working on an extensive rehab, I worked at the school...In the beginning, I painted, cut grass and purchased all material to save $$$...If it's your Desire to do RE and you're 100% committed,  your husband will probably honor that...GL
