Too much of a risk in my opinion - great if the policies are low cost but if they don't protect you from a major loss then there is no point in having the insurance, you might as well save the premiums and roll the dice that nothing is going to happen.The only option that seemed semi-viable was American Modern but there have been mixed reviews on that so I'm not sure about switching.

If that's the case maybe all the student loans are rolled up into a long term or income based repayment plan with the hope that lots of the principle is forgiven by the government after 10 or whatever years of payment.

You can then use 3-4 cards of similar balance to roll the funds from card to card and carry the balance or pay down the balance on one card and wait on a new 0% offer (which usually takes a month or 2).I also request balance increases abound every 4-6 months to work the balances up higher and higher.

You can buy what ever you want for 6 months with out interest but after 6 months it rolls into a loan payment and the account can no longer be used for purchases.
