I am in the rehab process, is it still worth to do a pre-qualification?

The zoning is somewhat grey as it states that it's legally rentable, as long as it is owner occupied, on the website but still listed as a single family zone.Does anyone have or know of an example where an accessory dwelling units rent was counted in an appraisal or towards qualification for purchasing a property using an FHA loan.

Stress that these are minimums and just by meeting the minimums doesn't mean instant approval.My worry is these requirements are so difficult to understand for the everyday person looking for a rental that you could be missing out on good people who just don't want to deal with a rubix cube of qualifications to understand.

And lets address the tenant vetting - I know the city is tightening up as far as unit availability because landlords are getting more strict on qualifications.... but how many decent tenants are you getting to live in 48205?

Regarding the DSCR loan, I would imagine the lender/broker you're working with would be able to give you more information regarding what their specific program entails (qualification metrics, loan terms, etc).

@Henry DunklauHenryThe rate you get is going to depend on your qualification.  8% on a 30 year is a rate for a no income verification, no seasoning on title type loan.
