As a native of Jacksonville, it is commonly referred to as a big city with a small town mentality.  

Just a mental game not to be taken too seriously.

Midland/Odessa is known for lacking in personnel options and also is known for having an "old school" mentality.

What I'm wondering is what to do about obvious case of mental illness.  

Is this not the right mentality?

hey guys, I'm happy to be joining to this great community, I'm 33 years old, soon to be married live in Miami area and searching for my way in real estate investment, I quit my job recently because I didn't enjoy it anymore, i felt I'm not growing anymore and mentally I couldn't continue even though it helped me saving nice amounts of money, obviously money is important and we all searching to make more of it, but we need to enjoy what we do and grow everyday.It took me a while to make that decision, and it was hard leaving my comfort zone but I'm definitely ready for new adventures, I'm looking for my first real estate deal as an investment, to grow my finances and to make an income. 

Rarely do I see someone forming an LLC exclusively for this investment as there are management oversight responsibilities, costs, etc that need to be considered and folks are coming into syndicate deals with a passive overall mentality to start with so burdening them w/a more active company is not something that they are considering.  

In between studying for tests I would do other school work, take care of things around the house and other things that need to be done, and if I had time and the mental energy I would read a book or watch tv. 

Very versatile, and even allows for money orders.

Once you know the area well enough you'll be able to peg rent within a decent margin of error to run a mental check on any type of property.
