Make flyers and post them around town (gas stations, supermarkets, etc).Make signs with a brief description and your phone number and place on the property and busy intersections near the house but check with your local authorities first because they can be a pain in the ***!

I set who will be doing the job, and I authorize any work and cost associated with it....once the contractor gets to the job and inspects etc, they need to contact me if additional work above what we discussed needs to be done..... the contractor contacts the tenant to set up a convenient time for both.

They're still wrong for what they did but you need to be honest and accept your own role in this.By the way, if they are licensed then you can report them to the real estate commission or whatever the governing authority is.
