Do general contractor generally look at all aspects of a home that may need repair such as electrical, AC, heater, etc..I am looking at a company that labels themselves as "remodeler" and not sure if they will evaluate all possible repairs of the property before I purchase it.Are general contractors more appropriate to use for full rehabs than "remodelers"?

Then have the escrow agent or attorney depending on your state prepare a note & mortgage (or Deed of Trust) depending on your state with the appropriate property named as the security.

Will depend on several factors like the type of property, type of tenants (for you, I suppose, people on the property), your risk tolerance, other assets you own, your estate planning, laws where the property is located, etc.Any lawsuits would be limited to the assets of the LLC and not your personal assets (assuming you run the LLC appropriately and the corporate veil is not pierced).

I suspected the valuations provided were not appropriate but at the same I didn't want to believe that investors would deceitfully (or ignorantly) include them in the listings as golden.
