@Sid Leibowitz suggested that if drywall is present that the lower portion be removed; I would suggest that you measure up about 48 inches to snap a chalk line and take out whatever drywall lies below that, so that you can use full sheets of drywall to replace the wet sections.

Turnkey is trade off, like anything else - you give away a portion of your return to have a truly passive investment, just like you would if you invested in high-yield mutual fund.Now, the fact that turnkey is passive doesn't mean there isn't work - it's just that all the work should be done before you cut a check.

@Samantha KleinIf the cracks in the slab are only in the floor and not in the thicker portion forming the perimeter foundation, the cost to repair them should be similar to removing an old driveway and installing a new one.
