Send a nice letter to your borrower pointing out that you've enjoyed working with them (butter up) that you would also like an early payoff and will work with them to assist them in doing so, might suggest paying some closing costs for early payoff.

I always ask tenants for an email address.I enjoy having a trail to reference what was said and when.I also can easily take texts/emails while at work, but don't like phone calls because then everyone in the cube farm can hear me.I scan all my leases, so I email them a copy.

In other words, if an investor really enjoys the process and building relationships with vendors and reviewing properties...all of the hand-on things, then they absolutely need to avoid TK because the process of no involvement will drive them nuts.
