There isn't a topic that is debated by anyone with any basic finance knowledge (actually, I've never heard it debated by anyone other than Bob here in this thread).When Bob is successful at getting the textbooks rewritten to agree with him, or when he can find a qualified finance expert to come on here and agree with him, we can resume the debate. 

There is fierce debate over this. 

Debate and venting is nice (and I've certainly done my share), but never forget what this forum and community is all about.
