Is there a viable way to expense such a trip - and any others that come about from the efforts to acquire the property? 

I’ve been hearing more to get it after I acquire property so this definitely helps I think I will focus on the property first then the llc.

It was a property I acquired with a partner.

If you are a flipper, then your savings could be better used to acquire more flips.

Hi @John Rossi, Tax advisors generally allocate the deferred capital gain and depreciation recapture between the three (3) replacement properties acquired on a prorata basis.
