Those of us who are in better situation pay a lot of taxes and donate to worthy causes. 

My parents owned a plot of land in our NJ town that they bought back in the 80's with grand plans to eventually build, and then it got classified as wetlands or something in the 90's and that was the end of that! 

My wife, and I are staying at my parents for the time being, but ultimately we want our own space.

I have been renting one of my parents rentals on a property with 2 homes.

Leaving my parents home I vowed never to pay rent.

You are so ahead of the curve, those Toledo neighborhoods with the cool and affordable houses (opposite of cookie cutter) will be all the rage when the millennials move out of their parents basement (eventually lol).

But also i'm trying to do the same for my parents who own a rental property in their names as well.

she's definitely sour that the house was signed over to me even though she has said she doesnt want it and didnt want to stay living alone.Family counseling doesnt work, we went when my dad passed and all she did was throw everything back at my sister and I.Thank you to everyone who has responded, I am just lost... ive never owned a home nor have I had to go through 70+ years of stuff and decide what goes in the trash or gets donated or given to other family.

Stakeholders have to donate money and time for a lobby group to exist and have any relevance.

I have a good residential lease, and will have the parents sign individually.
