Hello All! What has been your smallest and biggest rehab total expense in California? What did the property look like?

I've heard if you aren't able to check on the rehab often it can go over budget and push the timeline out quite a bit.

Budget the 300 as an expense, keep your eyes on the prize of an apartment in as good shape as u can get it with the minimum of fuss

I am thinking I should buy a home that needs a little elbow grease, house hack via 1-2 roommates and save capital and possibly renovate the home some with a strict budget (update appliances, bathrooms, new paint, etc).
