I hate it when I call to set an appointment and the listing agent doesn't call back for a day.

This is why doctors appointments and air travel have odd times.

They were listed on the MLS, I made an appointment with my agent to view them within 1 week.

Go to a local USO and ask around for a recommended Financial Planner or if you are close to any Military Installation make an appointment to talk to them, not positive but it should be a free service for Military Veterans with Honorable Discharge.On the real estate side once you and your financial planner have determined a plan talk to a VA Home Loan Specialist (which I can recommend to you privately) and utilize the benefit what you have earned.

I used to assist with scheduling appointments, house clean-up, construction clean-up, visiting potential properties, taking pictures, general deal analysis and a few other entry level activities.

I was tired of having to call my agent and set an appointment to go view a potential property. 

They do a pretty good job answering our inbound seller calls and booking appointments.
