Im assuming this is a typical wood framed structure.I just designed one for a property in the middle of Newton NJ and am currently debating on purchasing a commercial space which will require a full FP system if I turn it into residential rentalsAs for general pricing assumptions; $20,000 to $25,000 for the incoming secondary fire service (can't use the domestic - must be separate feed line), back flow preventer, wet tap, pavement and back fill, FP riser, alarms, ect.

The listing agent should be at the appraisal armed with comps to prevent this from happening.

The basement is unfinished, but it is framed with insulation.My question is, is there something or some product I should be getting to help prevent mold growth.

Everything was set up on individual utilities (great for preventing utility disputes)Each unit will need approximately 20k in repairs, and new floor plans (this is a big project but we knew that going in).  

You can't prevent a holdover but you can make it their problem to vacate the unit.

What can I do to prevent this from happening?

Make sure security lighting is good at night as well for safety of your tenants, to prevent illegal dumping on your property, and for helping keep illegal activity from happening in your parking lot ( drug deals ) etc.No legal advice given.        

I should be looking more at getting my feet wet but if I can prevent payments to PMI, ideally, I'd like to go that route.
