It's their very job to enforce contracts.The reason our civilization puts things in writing is so that the rules cannot be changed in the middle of the game ...why is this important principle we all rely on (EVERYONE, not just landlords) suddenly OK to ignore?

Can someone recommend a structural engineer in the east bay area? 

He had 3 solid workers and was very hands-on himself....and they didn’t seem to mind this middle-aged lady working alongside them!

But with uncertainty, I think cash is probably the best answer for right now.I’m also in the middle of some purchases but they are low end inexpensive properties in areas that I am well familiar with so I am pretty comfortable with closing on those purchases.

Has to be eerie in Vegas as I saw some pictures of the strip and its a ghost townFoundation issues can be a problem, mostly in the northeast and east Texas area including Dallas.

I would classify the neighborhood as upper-middle class, and it doesn't appear like there are a lot of renters in the immediate area, so I am unsure if there really is a market for it (although, again, it's a very desirable location).

I guess there weren't any operable smoke alarms, either, since she said the fire was pretty much out of control by the time she realized anything was wrong.The landlord's son is now trying to help his mom get back on her feet, while my friend is trying to get help from a housing aid organization (not easy in the middle of this quarantine situation!).
