Before jumping into being a pure private lender, you need to understand the risks of individual deals and be able to validate the numbers that are presented to you.There are a ton of investors in DFW that would gladly take your money, just do your due diligence and find the trustworthy ones who have been in the business awhile and aren't going anywhere.

If you want him to look at something, it'll have to happen when he happens to be in our area for a real job.But I've seen him solve an appraisal-introduced "this house needs a new roof, period" problem with less than <$400 in fees for an inspection, patch, and 3 year warranty
