We have lots of minor repairs; leaky faucet, outdoor light that does not work, closet doors that need to be replaced, crossed hot and cold water lines for shower in the old place and in the new place we need new lights, fans, floors, vanity, etc.

I feel that even though the property manager requested electricity to be on in early December, they should have followed up with the power company if it was not on the next day (the power company "Indianapolis Power and Light Company" has been very responsive and always turned on electricity within 24 hours for my other properties).

Warning: If you leave federal employment you will have to pay back the sum immediately so be aware of that.Make sure do analyze your COCR return or ROI return versus your TSP.Last note: Why wait until you're retired to access your funds when you can be building a real estate empire that makes your retirement funds in your TSP completely irrelevant by the time you retire.TSP = just a safety net.

We have protocols we can follow to encourage the neighboring owner to act but the first step is the initial warning letter (everything needs to be documented), then a call to a hearing with the Board, after which the Board can decide to impose potential fines.

Now you technically already own the place (after x years of course) and in some cases this is legal and others not so tread lightly but you can effectively fix up the property, increasing the value of the property, and turn around and sell a 2nd leasehold with option to buy but this time with a higher price then what your lease hold and option to buy is.

I don't have a problem reimbursing the tenants for this and plan to add it to the lease.My issue is that in my new place, i noticed that my porch light and the driveway lights (2 post lights) are connected to my apartment.
