My wife and I joined a RE mentoring and education group in the Houston, TX about a year ago and decided to pursue SFRs as a way to supplement retirement savings/income with a view toward possibly shifting to Apartments in future.This all started 6 or 7 years ago when my brother recommended Rich Dad, Poor Dad to us.  

My husband's (Matt Faircloth) blog contribution this week is actually sharing tools and services that we use to help us streamline and improve our image as a Landlord over the years.  

First 6 years in America, I worked 6-7 days. 12-13 shifts in a restaurant in Manhattan downtown and saved every penny.

And if they tell me that they work second shift and need to sleep in the morning?  

When I first started wholesaling I made the mistake of shifting gears from looking for seller leads to buyer leads when I got my first property under contract.

Just be aware that there is a possibility that your real returns can diminish significantly if the economy shifts into a slightly higher inflationary period and make sure that when buying you have a spread that can accommodate this possible change. 

I started looking around and someone had enclosed the arch ways and added a door between the main entrance/ hallway and the living room, but what fought my eye is that on that make shift door there was a key lock on it, and it was locked.  

Just wanted to introduce myself and let you know that i am really excited about being apart of this community.I have been a marketing consultant and direct response copywriter for 9+ years and now I'm making to shift into the RE world.My goals are to learn as much as i can about this world, and get involved in Wholesaling properties.

Just recently shifted from my 17yr corp sales journey to the REI world.  

Another thing at that amount, in the backroom of a bank, they may shift that loan to a participating lender, where another bank takes a chunk of that loan to reduce risks between the two lenders.
