I have been looking on the west side for a place to rent for a pastor who is relocating here and have had no luck.

The more I think about it I might just want to relocate and buy an existing 3plex or 4plex instead.

I will relocate to the area where I will be doing the deals, The wife & I do prefer somewhere warm & sunny (currently live in AZ) First Preference is anywhere in Florida, but I am having a tough time finding anything good with all the competition & people moving in. 

I do however want to cater more towards a calm, private, family/home environment for those who have to relocate temporarily and do not want a long contract or to stay in a hotel.

The large number of distressed homes sold in past years pulled down the statistical average selling price for the region.I have doubts that Wayne County (outside of Detroit) will appreciate more quickly that Oakland County on an individual house basis because few high income earners deliberately relocate there.

I wonder with the OMI it seems to have maximum price of the relocation payment.
