The seller won't require an appraisal like a bank will, so you should order your own. 

Instead of being grateful that we worked together to grow their business with my capital, I was made to feel like a nuisance because I asked for information about my loan and evidence to support his claims. 0/10 would recommend these people.

Home prices are much higher in 2024 than they were in 2010 so hopefully you made a good amount of appreciation on your investment.It may be worthwhile to sell, if possible, within the next couple of months if you want to take advantage of section 121 exclusion becuase it looks like it will expire for you soon.

@Ryan Errico, liens like that are in order of time UNLESS the earlier lien-holder agrees to change their position which is very uncommon.
