Hi All, I need some advice on self-directing ira to put the money into a deal.

Quest IRA has something Tuesday morning and evenings.There are lots of ways around getting stuck with a house.

Just another safe bucket like IRA accounts.

If your IRA already purchased this house (subject to or not) the transaction will be pretty typical and any closing company will be able to do it.

@Aaron Ingram, my advice as prior military, a real estate investor, landlord and Florida Mortgage Broker is to forget about what you are asking about for now.Instead, over the time you're in Japan, ESPECIALLY with two new babies, focus on investing in retirement saving  in mutual funds, IRAs, annuities and college savings plans.  

You can also invest with a self directed IRA. 

In order to invest in real estate with your retirement account you need a self-directed IRA or self-directed 401k. 

Still thinking of other options such as cashing out my ira if needed.
