I was just informed by my property management company who inquired with the local housing authority (Grand Rapids, MI)  that we MIGHT be receiving Feb payments but if the shut down continues into Feb we definitely will not be receiving March.

I recently wanted to get into properties in Michigan where the rent ratios are better and the population growth finally stopped going negative.

I'm currently under contract for my first duplex in SE Lansing, MI near Holt.Since I am not local to this area, I am looking for some recommendations for plumbers & electricians to fix a few small things and help in the future.Also, I checked the events page & have not seen a Lansing meetup for January - anyone aware of a group that meets regularly?
