The only thing that you can legally expect/demand is that the dog is "reasonably handled"; leashed (unless medically required that it NOT be leashed), nice and gets along with tenants, not threatening, vaccinated (I believe, you'll have to double check this), etc.

Letting your dog run around your front yard off a leash is illegal.

If a person/tenant wants to leave a lease nor a leash will hold them.

For rentals, you want it to be sturdy.

Like if I had a inspector go out there, would they be able to tell if it's sturdy enough to transport?

My dog loves to run after the squirrels in the park, but she don't get to go too far because of her leash.

Ours are made from plywood (oak or birch), and are sturdy and can be made to any size that's needed.

It is a sturdy brick home with 2 recently renovated units.

We were amazed. 20 years later at our reunion that heavy class mate says she didn't feel human but just like a sturdy board.
