Dan Patrick first ran for public office on this very issue here in Houston and with his radio show caused a big stir in this topic and got overwhelming support and never did anything about it.

Even if you don't want to give that option to someone it stirs up a lot more potential buyers.

The politicians stir up FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt) and voters fall in line with their preconceived party/tribe bias and NOTHING gets improved. 

When you vividly imagine yourself achieving your goals or living the life you desire, it stirs up positive emotions and fuels your determination.

Any time I have mentioned this case on Bigger Pockets, the tenant has eventually discovered the post and starts stirring up a storm on it. 

I said no I don’t want to stir things up with the listing agent.

You can find plenty of arguments here on BP about this issue, so I'll drop it and let you read through those conversations rather than stir it up here.You've already decided against this deal, so I'll offer some food for thought on the next one you consider.
