I am no longer shocked at the steering of many Realtors.

I know nothing of them, but by their marketing tactics, I would steer well clear.   

Steer clear of any costly seminars or training (or ones you think ae just teasers for expsnive programs down the road) for now, there's plenty of learning to be done for free, and you can always sign up for them later after you've soaked up lots of free knowledge, if at that time you think they are worth it.

But I think this will be my yr & I just want to get to know ppl with knowledge that can steer me in the right direction hope to hear from you all thanx.Marvin

I would be more than happy to steer you in the right direction.Since moving back to the area where I grew up, I started dating a girl who also sees the benefits of investing in real estate.

I feel pretty comfortable now in assessing deals, my angst mainly comes from making sure I have the right contractors in place and a "system" to steer tenants in the right direction while keeping good PR with them.

Steer clear.

Definitely makes sense and will steer the bitterness away and not let is poison my mind about ALL Contractors.  

Once you save up money and the property appraises, you can always refi out of the FHA loan.Looks like your Mortgage banker is trying to steer you towards a conventional loan, and not doing his/her job.

Anyhow, have him/her call me and I would be more than happy to steer them in the right direction.
