. :)Most REO agents I know prefer if you just call your own agent though as they want very little to do with them besides listing it and cashing the check (high volume and low percentage plus they normally have to pay for electricity and upkeep etc) You may find the listing agent doesn't respond to many "regular callers".

Yellow letters have a higher response rate ( average of 8%-9%) but you'll get all kinds of callers: angry, curious, tire-kickers, quality, etc.

Yes, postcards tend to receive less of a response rate on average, however the responses tend to be mostly quality calls, while the yellow letters get more calls, but include all types of callers (angry, curious, tire-kickers, quality, etc.).
